About us
Relationships Create Opportunity

Spake & Partners Capital Advisors, LLC is a boutique commercial real estate finance and capital advisory firm based in Arizona.
We help real estate investors, developers, builders, and business owners secure thoughtful, strategically structured financing through a level of personal attention larger commercial finance firms often cannot provide.
With more than 75 years of combined experience in lending, banking, real estate, and finance, our team brings deep market knowledge, practical deal experience, and a trusted network of capital relationships to every transaction.
Boutique by Design
We believe commercial lending should be tailored to fit the project, not the other way around.
Unlike larger firms that may rely on standardized processes or one-size-fits-all solutions, we take the time to understand the full opportunity: the borrower, the property, the business plan, the timing, and the strategy behind the transaction. That insight allows us to pursue financing that is not only available, but aligned with the project’s objectives.
Experience. Relationships. Execution.
Engaged from strategy through execution
Through established relationships with banks, private lenders, family offices, and other capital sources, we connect clients with financing partners and help structure transactions around their specific needs. Our role is not simply to introduce a lender. We provide perspective, advocacy, and hands-on guidance.
Our experience spans commercial real estate, luxury residential development, spec and custom home construction undertaken as commercial projects, investment properties, and other sophisticated real estate transactions.
Clients work directly with experienced advisors who know their business, understand their goals, and remain engaged throughout the process. Relationships aren’t simply part of our business. They’re how opportunities are understood, structured, and created.
The founder
The person behind the practice
Lisa Spake’s story begins in Traverse City, Michigan, where she learned to balance the books on an adding machine in her grandfather’s antique store. Building something that was actually hers has been the through line ever since.
Her steadiness was earned through market cycles as much as through deals. Raising her son through the 2008 housing collapse while rebuilding her own livelihood taught her what clients need most when the ground shifts: a steady hand, a real plan, and someone who simply does not walk away.
Today, she is a dog mom and a real mom. Her puppy, Jack Finley, is adorable, lovable, and has more energy than a toddler, so their long walks come with plenty of pace. She recharges on purpose: infrared saunas and serious energy poured into making her home exactly what she wants it to be. That same care shows up in how she works, one relationship and one transaction at a time.
