Lisa Spake

With more than 25 years of experience spanning mortgage banking, private banking, and commercial real estate finance, Lisa Spake founded Spake & Partners Capital Advisors, LLC to offer a more discerning, relationship-driven approach to commercial lending.
Lisa advises developers, investors, business owners, and high-net-worth clients throughout Arizona on complex real estate financing, luxury residential development, and spec and custom home construction as commercial ventures. Her expertise extends beyond structuring capital. She understands the nuances, timing, and strategic considerations that shape every transaction.
Each opportunity is evaluated on its individual merits and connected to financing designed around the project, the client, and the broader objective.
Grounded in decades of relationships across banking and private capital, Lisa delivers thoughtful guidance, tailored solutions, and access to opportunities that conventional lending channels may overlook.
Lisa’s eye for the numbers started early. Originally from Traverse City, Michigan, she learned to balance the books on an adding machine in her grandfather’s antique store, sitting beside him at the counter because the numbers made sense to her, and so did the idea of building something that was actually yours.
Her resilience was shaped by market cycles as much as by deals. When the housing market collapsed in 2008, Lisa was raising her son on her own, carrying the weight of being both the provider and the parent while she rebuilt. She sold what she had to sell, kept working, and figured out what the market was now asking for. That same steadiness is what she brings to clients navigating uncertainty today.
Outside of work, Lisa is a dog mom and a real mom. Her puppy, Jack Finley, is adorable, lovable, and has more energy than a toddler, so their long walks keep her moving as much as they clear her head. She recharges on purpose: infrared saunas, and serious energy poured into making her home exactly what she wants it to be. Her favorite reminder, “Take off your heels, slide into your loafers, and get ready to grind,” is how she approaches the work all the same.

Ryan Myers
Director of Strategic Lender Relations
Raised in the industry, with a father who was a licensed real estate agent for 33 years, Ryan learned the business grind from the ground up: banking, lending, home building, and brokering. Some of his earliest memories are of sitting at open houses with his dad on Sundays, watching football in between greeting visitors.
Ryan serves as the CEO of the TITLE AGENCY, designed as a boutique luxury-style firm, built around a commitment to answering virtually any real estate question. The team is dedicated to delivering white-glove service and ensuring client success, one transaction at a time.
Beyond business, Ryan remains closely connected to his roots. His mother, Audrey, still resides in North Dakota. His sister Shanna and nephew Kirby live in Minnesota. Ryan lives in Arizona with his wife, Ari, and daughter, Avery.
Mike Abel
Corporate Counsel
Mike Abel serves as Corporate Counsel for Spake & Partners Capital Advisors, LLC, bringing more than 25 years of legal and commercial real estate experience to the firm and its clients. He holds a law degree and an LL.M. in International Taxation, is licensed to practice in Arizona, Ohio, South Carolina, and Texas, and has personally overseen more than 50,000 real estate transactions worth over $7 billion.
At Spake & Partners Capital Advisors, LLC, Mike’s counsel reaches every stage of a transaction. His deal structuring acumen, regulatory knowledge, and command of contract law help clients navigate complex commercial capital arrangements with confidence, protecting their interests from the first conversation through closing. His taxation background adds a further layer of insight for clients whose transactions cross state lines or involve sophisticated ownership structures.
Mike’s passion for sharing knowledge shapes the way he advises. He has authored articles on topics like RESPA, FIRPTA, International Taxation, Contracts, and Mortgage Fraud, served as a guest instructor at the University of Akron School of Law, and was Ohio’s leading provider of continuing education for mortgage professionals for over five years. Through his Arizona-based Abel Education Institute, he continues to teach and write for the real estate community, translating complex legal matters into plain language.
After brief stops in South Carolina and California, Mike settled in Arizona in 2006 and has been part of the state’s real estate community ever since. His role at Spake & Partners Capital Advisors, LLC reflects a strategic alignment with the firm’s mission of delivering boutique, white-glove commercial capital advisory, and he looks forward to helping clients succeed in their goals and overcome any challenges they may face.
